Burlington …. the place to visit for a few days of real relaxation! Stroll in the veld by day; never knowing what you may see. A tortoise or waterbuck, a zebra or startled warthogs bustling away with their tails erect!

Witness the magnificent starscapes at night, while listening to sounds that are familiar only to those who know the bush …. the snorting of warthogs; the huff of a blesbuck whose space you may have wandered into; the dog-like bark of a bushbuck or the shrill squawking of the nesting kieviets whom you may disturb.

Enjoy the open-vehicle game viewing in the late afternoons, or an early morning hike before a hearty breakfast.

 
For the more adventurous, take out a Kubota and challenge some rough terrain with the ever present prospect of unexpected game sightings ……. or take out your fishing kit and binoculars and settle down alongside the Scardale dam to tempt the bass or observe the waterside birdlife. So much to enjoy in the open air!
